August Schleicher
(February 19, 1821 in Meiningen - died . December 6, 1868) - German linguist. His most important work wa s a compendium grammar prainodeuropejskiego, tried to reconstruct the extinct language. The distinguished linguistics, language, i solation (which naturally correspond to the crystals), agglutinative languages (plants) and inflectional languages (animals). The latter he regarded as the most developed form of language. He also created the theory of tree under which proved that all languages are born as a result of differentiation, giving rise to language families.
